Everything’s coming up roses!
Everything’s coming up roses!
Resplendent in gold and silken-sheen tissue
Magnificently beautiful: These two gifts are not only wrapped in fine gold paper, but are also decorated over and over with a profusion of roses that are easy to make yourself.

Tissue paper in various colors and double-sided tesa® Photo Film
All you need is tissue paper in various colors and double-sided tesa® Photo Film. Cut the tissue paper into strips about 12 cm (4.5 in.) wide. Gently fold the strips over, being careful not to make a crease (see photo below).
Then simply roll the paper – where you are holding it will automatically form the base of the flower. Fix the end of each rose in place with tesa® Photo Film and then attach the blossoms to the present.
Some wrapped packages look so good you don’t want to give them away!
Our tip:
Just keep the next one for yourself.

Colorful ribbons off the roll
Finally, a tidy box
Where to put all those nice gift ribbons? We have an idea! First find or buy a cardboard box of a suitable size and height.
Next step: Cover the box with colorful wrapping paper (if it isn’t already colorful), which is easy with tesa® double-sided tape.
Using a box cutter or knife, cut a narrow slit, about 2 to 3 mm (1/8 inch or less) in the lid of the box, first gluing a piece of paper in a contrasting color to the lid where the slit is planned.
Then decorate the whole lid with wrapping paper; cut out a somewhat larger “window” for the slit beforehand.
Finally, tape a bright polka-dot pattern to the edges of the lid.
