Bright lights, big city

City panorama

Home-designed “city lights” instead of simple living room lights: What could be better than a nice panorama from your last trip to New York? Maybe a picture of a short jaunt to the big city, a nice photo of your own hometown… the list goes on and on.

The principle couldn’t be simpler: A photo print on your lampshade, and your nicest travel memories start to glow.

Tip:
Play with formats and try out what suits you best – “full coverage,” or the somewhat classier “widescreen” presentation.

Custom measurements

Before you go to work gluing the photos on – preferably using tesa® Glue Roller non-permanent, so that you can remove the photo paper easily if you wish – you should take the lampshade’s measurements.

This idea works well only if the picture reaches around the entire shade.
