Decorative moldings and trim in widely varying types
Decoration for any wall
In the style of ornamental plasterwork or very simple, finished in soft cream or dark brown: Decorative moldings and trim are available (from home improvement stores, for example) in widely varying types, most of them made of polystyrene foam. See the next page for information on how best to affix them to the wall.
Installation, step by step
To ensure that the moldings and trim hang truly straight on the wall later on, we recommend that you use a guide rail during installation. A good choice for this is a long wooden slat to which you adhere tesa Powerstrips® Large at even intervals (1).
Then the guide rail is affixed to the wall using a level (2). Important: After installation, tesa Powerstrips® Large can be removed from the wall without leaving any residue behind.
Now the molding is evenly coated with mounting glue (3), carefully laid on top of the guide rail, and firmly pressed onto the wall (4).
After the glue has dried for the required amount of time, simply remove the guide rail and tesa Powerstrips® Large.
