The right ventilation adds up to savings

Great climate with tesamoll®
Energy experts call it unintended airing when gaps in the window frames cause warmth to be drawn from a building. Yet even for intended airing, many mistakes can be made. Here are the top 5 tips for airing your house or apartment without worry. Not only will it be good for your pocketbook, but also for the environment.
Short, intense airing
Leaving the windows tilted and then going out of the house causes the apartment to cool off, particularly during the winter months.
Instead, air in short, intense periods, i.e. open windows wide two to three times a day.
Adapted airing
Be it summer or winter - there's a big difference in airing. You only air properly if you take the outside temperature and air humidity into account. The rule of thumb: in winter two to three times a day for 5 to 10 minutes, in spring and autumn about 15 to 30 minutes of intense airing.
Needs-oriented airing
Not all rooms require the same degree of airing. For bedrooms and children's rooms, let air in directly after getting up. The kitchen and bathroom need an inflow of fresh air more often due to the higher humidity of the air.
General airing
Walls cannot breathe. If you do not air at all, the humidity in the air cannot escape. The result: formation of mold.
Conscious airing
Gaps in windows can provide fresh air, but in an unintended way, and that can be expensive. On the other hand, everyone who uses tesamoll® to seal windows will save heating costs, and up to as much as 20 percent, for larger gaps even up to 35 percent a year.
