tesa® ecoLogo
The environmentally friendly product range

All products that bear the tesa ecoLogo label consist primarily of recycled or biologically based raw materials, are solvent-free, and are packaged in materials with as much renewable or recycled content as possible. It is a logical step for the company: In introducing the ecoLogo, tesa is taking the next step in its longstanding commitment to the environment, putting that philosophy into practice at the product level as well.

The tesa® ecoLogo products have been available at specialized retail stores since January 2010 – easily recognizable by their green packaging and the logo with the same name. The sub-brand was rolled out with six item categories and extended in 2011 with tesafilm® and tesapack®.

The ecoLogo range includes the tesa® EASY CUT ecoLogo hand dispenser. This ergonomically shaped green dispenser is refillable and made from 100% recycled plastic.

The same is true of the glue sticks tesa® Stick and triangular tesa® Easy Stick. In addition, the adhesive masses used for these products do not contain any organic solvents.

The tesa® ecoLogo symbol also appears on the refillable tesa® adhesive and correction tape dispensers, which are made from 81% recycled plastic (excluding the corrective tape), and tesapack® Paper, a packing tape produced from 60% renewable raw materials.

Furthermore, the range consists of tesafilm® ECO & CLEAR transparent tape where the film and core are made of 100 % recycled plastic, as well as the tesapack® ECO & STRONG packaging tape made of 100 % recycled plastic (the film) and 100 % recycled cardboard (the core).

All tesa® ecoLogo products meet the same high quality criteria as the conventional tesa product range, while also fulfilling the requirements of the DIN EN ISO.
