To meet the continually changing requirements in the construction and design of furniture, tesa has developed a special modular system consisting of various foam backings, innovative acrylate adhesive masses, and liners made of paper or plastics. With this new system, tesa is supporting the strong trend toward light, time-saving, and low-cost systems of affixing parts, which are increasingly replacing traditional methods such as screws and nails.

Because of their special characteristics, foam assembly and installation tapes are the preferred alternative: They fix items solidly and reliably in place and even out uneven surfaces. At the same time, the elastic backing absorbs shocks and movements and the connection itself remains flexible.
